Industrialization

At Air Med Aviation, Industrialization is a key pillar of our manufacturing services, ensuring a seamless transition from design intent to repeatable, high-performance production. This process is essential in the aerospace industry, where even the smallest deviation can impact airworthiness and compliance.

Our expert engineers work closely with client design teams to analyze 2D drawings, 3D models, and technical requirements. Using CAD/CAM software and simulation tools, we define optimized machining strategies, develop NC programs for CNC 5-axis and 9-axis machines, and validate them through digital twin simulation before any physical cut. We engineer dedicated fixtures and holding systems to maintain dimensional stability and process repeatability, even for complex geometries and tight tolerances.

Each part undergoes process capability analysis, tooling validation, and first article inspection (FAI) per AS9102 standards. We document the entire industrialisation flow, including control plans, critical characteristics identification (CCIs), and inspection workflows to ensure regulatory compliance and traceability.

Our team also establishes Material Requirements Planning (MRP), sets up BOMs (Bill of Materials), and defines cycle times and throughput to align with serial production goals. When necessary, we support Design for Manufacturability (DFM) consultations to reduce complexity, minimize production risks, and accelerate time-to-market.

Whether for single parts, sub-assemblies, or transferred programs, Air Med Aviation’s industrialisation process guarantees smooth production ramp-up, improved efficiency, and the highest quality outcomes — making us a trusted partner in aerospace manufacturing.
